A Jack3d Cardiovascular System and Liver

Written by
October 10, 2022

Are you currently taking Jack3D to lift more weight at the gym or OxyElite Pro for rapid weight loss? Well here’s something you might not know: these products are extremely dangerous and have been linked to numerous adverse events such as heart attacks and deaths resulting from cardiovascular injury, even in young healthy individuals and athletes!

Why are these products so bad for you?

Jack3d and OxyElite Pro both contain a stimulant known as DMAA. Its structure is similar to that of an amphetamine (e.g. methamphetamine). Ever wonder why you can lift so much weight after taking Jack3d? It’s basically because your body and vascular system are “cracked out.”In addition to the numerous reported adverse cardiovascular events, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is now investigating a growing number of reports of non-viral hepatitis that have led to 11 hospitalizations, two liver transplants, and one death. The FDA said the common link between at least some cases appears to be the dietary supplement OxyElite Pro. So far, 24 of the 29 reports of the liver damaging condition have been in consumers taking OxyElite Pro.

The impact of products containing DMAA

As a result of recent legal action by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, USP Labs, LLC has said to have destroyed all of its DMAA-containing products including, OxyElite Pro with DMAA and Jack3D. However, many of these products, as well as other smaller brands can still be found in stores and online. I even noticed a new product at my gym called Speed Shot by ABB Performance, which contains a very similar compound, known as DMAE or 2-dimethylaminoethanol.Athletes should use even greater caution since the use of DMAA has been banned by numerous sporting organizations and may cause you to test a “false positive” for methamphetamine. The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) have all banned the use of DMAA. When checking labels, you need to know that there are numerous names/synonyms that are used for DMAA. The most common ones are 1,3-di-methylamylamine, methylhexaneamine or MHA, dimethylpentylamine or DMP, 4-methylhexan-2-amine, Geranimine, and geranium oil, extract, or stems and leaves. A full list of other chemical names for DMAA is listed below. The only proven way to effectively lose weight is through proper diet and exercise. Check out my “9 Ways to Lose Weight and be Healthy” for safe and effective ways to lose weight! Dietary supplements should be used as part of a healthy lifestyle and not a substitute for other healthy habits. Weight loss supplements that promise bold effects, most likely do not work and are most likely more harmful than beneficial.
